Dr. Stephanie Van de Ven obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science at the University of Toronto and graduated with Honours from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. Dr. Van de Ven completed clinical internships at the University Eye Center (New York City), the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (Tucson), and The Vision Institute (Toronto). Collectively, her clinical experience extensively spans the domains of primary care, ocular disease, vision therapy, pediatrics, and laser vision correction. She has been practicing Optometry for over 10 years and takes great pride in the patient care she provides.
Dr. Van de Ven has always enjoyed volunteering and participating in community activities and was presented with Billie M. Lyons Memorial Award for distinguished service to the SUNY Optometry community at her graduation. She was born and raised in London, Ontario, and was eager to return to her hometown to practice Optometry. Today, when she is not seeing patients, her other interests include spending time with her husband and two children as well as traveling.
