Dr. Stephanie Van de Ven is the owner and lead optometrist of Dr. Cheryl Letheren and Associates, where she is dedicated to delivering modern, technology-driven, and exceptionally thorough eye care to patients of all ages. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from the University of Toronto and graduated with Honours from the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, completing clinical internships at the University Eye Center (NYC), the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (Tucson), and The Vision Institute (Toronto).

With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Van de Ven has developed extensive expertise in advanced dry eye therapies, ocular disease management, pediatric care, and emerging treatments for dry macular degeneration, alongside comprehensive primary care optometry. She is committed to integrating the latest research, technology, and evidence-based treatments into every patient encounter.

Dr. Van de Ven is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience—one that is warm, organized, and grounded in transparency, education, and clinical excellence. She leads her team with a focus on innovation, consistency, and a patient-first philosophy that shapes every step of the visit, from pre-testing to optical.

Originally from London, Ontario, Dr. Van de Ven is proud to care for the community she grew up in. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and traveling together as a family.
